Why stars twinkle

Have you ever wondered why stars twinkle? Well I know I have.
They actually don’t twinkle it’s just the atmosphere. If you see a star that’s not twinkling then it’s probably a planet.
Planets don’t twinkle because the gleam of the stars bounces of the planets to make them shimmer.
Stars don’t twinkle in outer space because they are out of the atmosphere. There is also a telescope just above the earth that proves this.
Now you know that stars don’t twinkle it’s just an optical illusion.
