Bored in Quarantine
“Tiptoe tiptoe” I open my gate in silence and crawl up the grass leading to the school. Aha, I’ve entered school grounds! “WOOP WOOH,” I exclaimed in my mind. Finally, I’m out of my house. I'm freeeeeeee!!! I tried not to touch anything cause I didn’t want to get COVID-19.
I hope nobody finds out I snuck into school. I am really bored so I am going to go to my classroom. Surprisingly it’s open. I can’t wait until school starts again.
“Me too,” somebody else says.
“ Yeah, I’m sooooooo bored at home Wait…”
WHO IS HERE!!!
“ It’s me, Miss Jiang.”
“ What are you doing here?”
“I’m cleaning up”
“Why?”
“Because I was getting bored at home”

Now I don’t have to tiptoe anymore. “STOMP STOMP!” I walk as loud as I can up the stairs. “Who’s there!” somebody yells. “It’s me Sanah, who are you?”
“It’s Mrs Davies Crook”
“What are you doing here?”
“I would like to ask the same question”
“Mhm”
“So… What are you doing at school?”
“I- er- uh- um- I don’t know...”
“Well you should know, are you here with anyone”
“No”
“Well, then what?”
“I was bored at home, what about you? ”

Well, that was awkward. Let’s see where I can go next. Hmmm, what about the library? Yes, let’s go there. “Creep Creep” Finally I’m here. “Hello anybody here?”
“Hello, who is it?”
“It’s me, Mrs Lobo”
“Oh hi, how are you?”
“I’m fine thank you”
“I better go now,” I say to myself. “OK bye Mrs Lobo”
Man, I didn’t know that there were people in school. Well, now I think it’s a good idea to go back home. “

“It’s time for school, you are going to be late!”

“I’m waiting downstairs for you”
“Wait, hang on a minute. There’s school today?”
“Yes it’s your first day of college”

“You’re fourteen, DUH”
“What college did I get into?”
“EGGS, now hurry up!”

When did I lose so much time? Wow, I’m going to college?! Well, I better go get changed I guess?.
